Yes! There’s More!

Welcome to the Yes, There’s More to Life! Blog

Have you reached a point in life where everything looks successful—on the outside—but deep inside, you wonder:

“Is this really it?”

Will this be how you feel for the rest of your life? Maybe you’ve built a great career, you’re doing well financially, you’ve checked off the boxes that society defines as success—and yet, something inside is quietly nudging you. A voice that says:

“There has to be more.”

And if you’ve ever felt a little guilty for asking that question—because yes, by many standards you have it “pretty good”—you’re not alone.

If this resonates, you’re in the right place. But what we’ll explore here may not be what you expect. Follow along with me, and you’ll discover that yes, there is more. I’ll help you uncover what that means for you.

About Me

I’m Valita Speranzi, a Certified Life Coach—and a long-time corporate leader who knows what it’s like to succeed on paper but still feel like something’s missing. I recently served as a Vice President and Director at a Community Financial Institution, but am now taking a break. I’m married, with two amazing and independent adult daughters. But more about me later.

And for years, I heard a quiet, persistent voice inside me asking:
“Is this it? Really?”

In my gut, I knew the answer—there had to be more. That voice didn’t go away until I finally decided to listen. Now, I help other high-achieving, thoughtful professionals do the same.

An Invitation to Something More

I’ve created an amazing 6-week journey to help you discover what “more” looks like in your life—and I call it just that: Finding More. It’s a guided exploration you can opt into (more details soon!), but before that, I want to give you 3 powerful insights to help you get started now.

Hint #1: Listen

That voice inside you—the one that whispers “there must be more”—isn’t a fluke. Start to listen to it, gently and without judgment.

What is it trying to tell you?
Where in your life do you feel the most disconnected or unsatisfied?
Is it your work? Your relationships? Your day-to-day joy?

Too often, we dismiss that voice because it feels inconvenient or ungrateful. But what if it’s your truest self asking to be heard? What if this question is the beginning of something beautiful?

Hint #2: Timing

There’s a reason you’re here—reading this right now. That little voice has shown up again, and this time, it’s not going away. When you keep pushing it down, the desire for something different will start leaking into other parts of your life as frustration, distraction, or even self-sabotage.

I know, because I’ve been there—over-drinking, over-scrolling, watching way too much TV, saying yes to things I didn’t care about just to shake the feeling.

None of that works in the long run. But listening does.

Hint #3: Let Go of Guilt

You may love your life. You’re probably deeply grateful for what you have. And that inner critic might whisper, You shouldn’t want more.

But here’s the truth:
Gratitude and desire are not opposites.
You can be thankful and still want to grow. Still want joy, depth, adventure, creativity, or freedom.
Wanting more doesn’t make you selfish—it makes you human.

Your 7-Day Challenge: Start Listening Inward

Let’s make this real. Over the next 7 days, I invite you to spend just 5–10 minutes each day exploring what your inner voice is trying to tell you.

Here’s how:

  1. Find a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted.
  2. Grab a notebook or journal and something to write with.
  3. Ask yourself:
    • What do I want more of in my life?
    • Where am I feeling restless or numb?
    • What excites me, even if it feels impractical?
  4. Write freely. Don’t judge. Don’t edit. Just listen.
  5. Reflect on what you’ve written. What stands out? What patterns do you notice?

You don’t have to have it all figured out—but you do have to begin.
This is your invitation to a more intentional, more aligned, more exquisite life.

If you’re in, sign up for a free mini-session where I’ll help you take the next steps. I can’t wait to talk with you!

There is more to life. Let’s go find it—together.
