Hello and Happy Thursday—or whatever day you happen to be reading this!
Have I mentioned how much I love hearing from you all! Some of you have shared with me that by simply taking time to pay attention to the thoughts running through your mind, you’ve gained considerable insights and had some big ‘Aha!’ moments. And that’s where the fun begins.
So, where do you want to go from here?
What does “more” mean to you?
Have you taken the time to intentionally think about your future—and then considered what it would take to create it? Or does the future you imagine sometimes feel out of reach?
What do you want your life to look and feel like?
And perhaps the bigger question is:
Do you want to intentionally design your future, or simply let it happen to you?
Maybe you have a successful career and make good money, but your relationships aren’t what you want them to be.
Maybe you have wonderful relationships, but you haven’t figured out how to create the financial life you want.
Maybe you really want to take better care of your physical health, but somehow everything else keeps taking priority.
Maybe there’s a dream you’ve carried for years, but there’s always been a reason not to pursue it.
Or maybe you’re in a different place entirely. You know you want something more, but you don’t know exactly what that “something” is.
All of these are okay.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before you start.
Whether you have a pretty good idea of where you’d like to take your life next—or you’re struggling to figure out what “next” even looks like—I have tools and experience that can help you get clear, challenge the thinking that’s keeping you stuck, and move toward the life you actually want.
Think about your future in chapters.
One thing I love to do is think about my future in chunks of time and around the life events I anticipate.
For example, I might ask myself:
Will I be a grandparent in the next five years?
If so, what kind of grandparent do I want to be?
Do I want to be the grandparent who is physically healthy, has plenty of energy to babysit, and has the flexibility to be available when I’m needed?
Or do I want to be the grandparent who is out having the time of her life—traveling, pursuing adventures, and being an amazing example of what it looks like to live an extraordinary life?
Maybe I want some combination of both.
And here’s the important part:
Neither choice is right or wrong.
I get to decide what I want my life to look like. I get to decide what matters to me and what I’m willing to prioritize to create it.
So do you.
I encourage you to take some time to think about your future—not just what you think you should want, but what you genuinely want.
That’s where coaching can take this work deeper.
The materials, exercises, and coaching I provide through my program are designed to help you get clear about what you want, understand what’s been holding you back, and intentionally create what’s next.
You don’t have to settle for the life you’ve already created simply because it’s a good life.
Yes, there can be more.
